I would like to know what kind of beeswax-medium do you prefer to use. Since I have just recently discovered my love for Encaustics, I am in the learning process and I wish to keep myself always surprised and open for the “Magic” to happen. Thanks!
Carmen, I would go to http://www.rfpaints.com. Their products are the best, plus they have a lot of information on the site, There are a number of books on encaustic now. I’m in one called “Encaustic Art” by Lissa Rankin.
Thanks so much! I bought some R&F Encaustic Medium from Daniel Smith. Thanks to Cari Hernandez’s Youtube very informative videos and being a printmaker made me go to experiment with etching printed on fabric, asphaltum, some drawing and gold pigment as my last coat… the fist one went easy but the second one is a bit of a hot mess.Lol. I keep trying!
